Hi! I’m Tomoko.🌸 I used to be an English teacher at junior high and elementary schools. I started this blog to share the lesson ideas and materials I created with my American co-teacher, Mago-chan, during our two and a half years of team teaching. I hope you find something here that makes your teaching a little easier. I’m always adding new teaching materials as quickly as I can!
A little bit about me 🐨🦥🐻 I live in the countryside and I love animals, especially koalas, sloths, and bears. I always bring home a teddy bear when I travel—can’t resist! I like almost all creatures, but bugs are the exception. Bugs scare me silly—there’s even one type I can’t stand thinking about, let alone typing its name on the computer! When I was a kid, I had a very close encounter with it, and I’ve been terrified of it ever since.
My fluffy little friend 🐶 I also have a fluffy white dog. When I’m not around, she keeps peeking at me from behind things like a tiny spy—it’s just too cute!

私について 🐨🦥🐻 四国の田舎に住んでいて、動物が大好きです。特にコアラ、ナマケモノ、クマが好き。旅行に行くと、ついついテディベアを買ってしまいます—やめられません！ほとんどの生き物は好きですが、虫だけは例外。虫は本当に苦手で、中でもある虫は思い出すのも名前をパソコンで打つのもイヤです💦 子どもの頃、めちゃくちゃ近距離で出会ってしまって、それ以来ずっと怖いままです。
ふわふわの友だち 🐶 白くてふわふわの犬もいます。私がそばにいないと、陰からじーっと覗いてくるんです—もう、本当に可愛すぎます！
Features of the Teaching Materials: 教材の特長
+1 to the Textbook: These are materials that are not essential for conducting a lesson, but using them might make the lesson more enjoyable for students. I have designed them to spark interest not only in the English language but also in foreign cultures. 教科書に＋１： 「この教材はなくても授業は成立するけど、これを使えば生徒がもっと楽しめるかもしれない」という教材です。言語としての英語だけでなく、外国の文化にも興味を持つきっかけになるように工夫しています。
Cute but not overly cute designs: I create the slides and worksheets based on my own preferences. (I'm not fond of overly sweet illustrations; I prefer aliens.) PowerPoint presentations are designed to be visible even to the students at the back of the classroom, and I keep the worksheets easy to read. かわいすぎないデザイン：私がデザインしたスライドやワークシートなので、私の好みに合わせています。(甘～い系が苦手で、宇宙人が好き）パワーポイントは教室の後ろの子も見やすいようにし、ワークシートは見やすい分量を心がけています。
