Valentine's Day reading activity バレンタインデー（読み物）

説明文が違うのを２つ作りました。（カラーと白黒バージョンがあるので、合計4枚のワークシート）
1枚目 バレンタインデーは、好きな人や友達に「大好き」と伝える日です。
２枚目 バレンタインデーは、友達をに大好きな気持ちを伝える日です。

2枚目の説明文は、「おさるのジョージ」の日本語版で、黄色の帽子のおじさん言っているセリフです。（Valentine's Day is for showing all your friends that you care about them.で、「care about　大好き」と訳しています。（care about は大事に思っている、と言う意味の好き。）おさるのジョージのビデオを見た後なら、2つ目の説明文がわかりやすいかもしれません。

動画は英語ですが、下にある「もう少しおさるのジョージの動画について」に移動すると、動画の解説と日本語版のリンクがあります。

I have created two different explanations.
First explanation: Valentine's Day is a day to say "I love you" to friends and loved ones.
Second explanation: Valentine's Day is for showing all your friends that you care about them.

The second explanation is a line from the man with the yellow hat in "Curious George."
The "Curious George" YouTube video is enjoyable and easy to understand. The link is below here.
After watching the "Curious George" video, the second explanation might become more understandable.
Each explanation has a black-and-white version as well, so there are a total of four worksheets.
